Sweet &  Simple Reveries…

Over lunch, the Mr. happened to mention that I was “dangerous” for being cute and quiet… Munching on my pizza, I curiously replied – What do you mean “dangerous”? He paused and then followed with –  “intoxicating”. Ooh – can’t say I’ve been described as “intoxicating” before – I quite like that! Big BIG point for the Mr.!

It’s easy to understand love at first sight, but how do we explain love after two people have been looking at each other for years?

Sweet &  Simple Reveries…

Spent the long weekend with our dear friends, the husbands and wives enjoying each other separately… it was great to have the space and much-needed girl time, while reconnecting and sharing adventures with the Mr. for a nice relaxing ending.

In a bad marriage, friends are the invisible glue. If we have enough friends, we may go on for years, intending to leave, talking about leaving – instead of actually getting up and leaving.

Sweet &  Simple Reveries…

Shared a walk together through our city’s Canada Day event – people watching, enjoying live music, talking with passing friends, and just being together. But if it wasn’t for the last part, few events would be important enough to celebrate or even remember :)

Sweet &  Simple Reveries…

We have absolutely no plans this long weekend other than being together for four uninterrupted days – oh, and maybe we’ll check out some fireworks… Happy Canada Day!

Sweet &  Simple Reveries…

In our house, we now have three alarm clocks. The first being our aging and dearly beloved little cd player/clock, the second (religiously faithful every morning at 5:30am) has been self-delegated by Billy Graham, and the third (when all else fails and who saved my ass today) is my  great and wonderful husband – thank you!

Love is one long sweet dream, and marriage is the alarm clock.
