From Me to You

I’ve always enjoyed the practice of writing letters. When we were younger, my sister and I would write, mail and hand-deliver letters to one another as if we lived miles apart even though we shared a bedroom most of the time! Still to this day we make a point to hand-write letters to each other on special occasions and as general updates as now we live on opposite sides of the country.

Since we started dating, the Mr. has written me a collection of poems on anything he could find from backs of receipts to random napkins. And I have written him a small box of thoughts as I’ve felt inspired. But keeping them all tucked away really gives them no justice…

One day I’d like to post each letter we’ve stained in dedication to one another on something like this wallpaper or create a mural of sorts… another DIY project one day!

There’s just something about a note – knowing that someone sat down and thought of you is one of the kindest compliments. I’ve always dreamed of having a little writing and telephone desk where you can take a moment to sit down and pen a few words in privacy to someone you love…

Here’s a list of a few letters in my past writing – so enjoy!

My Dear Friend (on your anniversary)

Happy Birthday Dad!

Dear God (A Prayer for My Marriage)

Happy Birthday Mom!
